Seventh annual Central America Travel Market promotes the region's diversity

The seventh annual Central America Travel Market kicked off its three-day promotion of the region's natural and cultural diversity in the former colonial capital of Antigua, Guatemala.

Through October 21, more than 245 tour operators and media drawn from a vast range of countries from around the world will be meeting with exhibitors from Belize, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua and Honduras.

Many attendees participated in pre-conference tours, organized by  Inguat  the official Guatemala tourism authority,designed to familiarize attendees with Guatemala's seven tourism regions.
