Singapore boosts Colombia and Costa Rica ties

Singapore's Minister for Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang will visit Colombia and Costa Rica from July 16 to 19.

The aim is to promote greater economic ties between Singapore and the two Latin American countries.

Colombia's bilateral trade with Singapore in 2012 was a little more than $1 billion, while Costa Rica's was $973 million, a growth of 40 and 13 percent respectively compared to 2011.
