Singapore signs investment accord with Colombia

Singapore and Colombia have signed an investment guarantee agreement to provide a legal framework for investments between the two countries.

The agreement serves to protect investors' interests from Colombia and Singapore and opens up more business and investment opportunities for companies from both nations.

Colombia is Singapore's sixth largest trading partner in Latin America, with bilateral trade amounting to $1 billion in 2012.
