Smashburger to expand into El Salvador

QSR International has entered into a development agreement with Corporacion Hamburgo to develop three Smashburger restaurants in El Salvador.

Following a successful launch in Costa Rica last year, and the signing of a five-unit development agreement in Panama earlier this year, El Salvador will mark the third country to open Smashburger restaurants in Latin America.

San Salvador is expected to be the location for the first restaurant.
