South America boosts Coca-Cola Femsa

Mexican bottling company Coca-Cola Femsa saw a boost in its revenue after acquiring Brazilian bottlers Fluminense and Spaipa earlier this year.

The Monterrey, Mexico-based firm's third quarter net income reached $246.7 million, with an 11.4 percent growth in revenue.

The performance was boosted mainly by an 18.6 percent growth in its South American sales after integrating the two Brazilian companies to its operations.
