South Korea seeks trade deal with Mexico

Tuesday, August 19, 2014

South Korea is looking for a trade deal with Mexico, six years after talks failed.

South Korea is Mexico’s sixth largest trading partner, but the two countries do not have a trade agreement.

“Countries such as Chile, Peru, Colombia and Brazil are enjoying investment that previously went to Mexico. But due to the efforts and achievements of the reforms, Mexico is emerging once again as an attractive nation in which to invest," said Seo Won-sam, of the Asian country's Foreign Ministry.
