Spain's investment and aid to Nicaragua drops

Loans, donations and exports from Spain to Nicaragua have dropped over the last year.

Spain is Nicaragua's third private sector investor, after Europe and the United States.

Last year, Spain invested $7.5 million in Nicaragua's private sector, compared to $8.4 million in 2011, the country's Central Bank reported.
