Spain's OHL plummets in markets

Thursday, November 15, 2018

Spanish construction company OHL, which has an important portfolio off projects in Central America and Mexico, recorded a quarterly loss of $1.5 billion.

Investors had foreseen the losses, and shares plummeted 18 percent cent in the session. The losses were almost 90 times as big in the same quarter of last year, and amounted to 65 percent of revenue.

Big loss-making projects included the Xacbal Delta in Guatemala and the participation in the Mayakoba tourism couples in Mexico.
