Spain’s RIU Hotels and Resorts to build second luxury hotel in Costa Rica

The Spanish chain RIU Hotels and Resorts decided to invest in a second hotel in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, next door to its existing hotel there.
The new hotel will be rated a RIU Palace, the top of the company’s range. Like the exiting hotel it will be a five-star. Investment will be some $85 million.
Construction has already begun and the inauguration has been pencilled in for early 2013.
