Spanish aid agency buries massive trash dump

Spain's aid agency, known as Aecid, sealed off in a ceremony yesterday the largest open-air garbage dump in Latin America, known as La Chureca, in Nicaragua.
In its place, Aecid built a recycling plant, houses and schools for the workers and families in the community.
The cost for the project was some $53 million, invested by Aecid and the community of Andalusia.
