Spanish firms increasingly look to Costa Rica

Spanish companies have increasingly looked to Costa Rica for investment opportunities over the last years, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

Costa Rica's geographical location and stability are among its competitive strengths over other countries.

Notable investments include Gamesa's $125-million deal to supply wind generators for the Orosi wind farm, and FCC's $95-million investment for the expansion of the Cañas-Liberia highway.
