Tuesday, February 21, 2012

Nicaragua forms part of the Central American plans for Starbucks in the coming years.

The company is waiting on market research to continue its expansion within the region, where it already operates in El Salvador.

The arrival of Starbucks would be expected to boost coffee consumption, which is currently the lowest in the region, said Julio Peralta, director of the nation's specialty coffees association.
