Starbucks to open 50 stores in Mexico this year

Starbucks is planning to cover all of Mexico's states with the opening of 50 stores this year.

The new stores will add to the 419 it already operates in Mexico.

Despite weak consumption in the country in the first half of the year, Starbucks sees opportunity for growth as Mexico's coffee consumption is expected to continue growing.
