Sura to buy Panama's Seguros Banistmo

 

Colombian insurance group Sura has signed an agreement to buy Panama’s Seguros Banistmo that will consolidate its presence in the Central American market.

The acquisition will give Sura an 8.26 percent share of Panama’s insurance market.
