SUV sales surge by 62 percent in Guatemala

Sales of SUV trucks in Guatemala rose 62 percent during the first five months of the year, compared to the same period of last year.

SUV trucks now lead the truck sector, followed by an 8 percent rise in pick-up truck sales.

In the family, urban car section of the market, the most notable rise in sales was for hatchbacks, with 80 percent.
