Tahoe Resources alleges injustice in Guatemala

A silver mine owned by Canada's Tahoe Resources said it was unjust for Guatemalan authorities to hold its general manager in pre-trial detention on the basis of a contamination complaint.

A court in the southeastern Guatemalan province of Santa Rosa on Monday ordered Carlos Roberto Morales jailed while prosecutors conclude their investigation.
