Taiwan finances fish farms throughout the region

The government of Taiwan announced its plans to finance Central American fish farms with $6.4 million.

Several plans are being developed in the region, with aims to boost production and develop production of species such as eel, sald Mario Gonzalez, from a Central American fishery authority.

Taiwan's help will be in the form of financing, training and development of technologies, Gonzalez added.
