Tax burden light for Costa Rican wage earners

 

Many Costa Rican wage earners pay very little income tax, compared with their equivalents in the rest of the world.

Guatemalan employees pay even less tax than Costa Ricans. But in all the other countries of the immediate region, rates are higher.
