Tax reform seen hitting small Salvadoran firms

Wednesday, May 21, 2014

A planned tax reform in El Salvador would affect small and medium enterprises, according to private sector representatives and the Salvadoran foundation for social and economic development, Fusades.

The new taxes are part of the outgoing government's fiscal reform plans.

"We hope they don't approve it in a rush," said Fusades analyst Álvaro Trigueros.
