Tegucigalpa will have region’s biggest mall

Honduras is to have the largest shopping mall in Central America, located near Tegucigalpa’s Toncontín airport.

The mall is being developed by the Lady Lee real-estate company. It will have more than 130,000 square meters and 1,500 parking spaces.

The official ceremony to launch the construction will be attended by the president, Porfirio Lobo, on April 6.
