Telefónica passes 10 million users in region

Spain's Telefónica ended June with over 10.4 million customers in Central America, up from 9.10 million in June 2012.

Customers at mobile unit Movistar reached 9.84 million at the end of June 2013, up from 8.5 million in the same month last year.

Of the total, 8.9 million were prepay users and 885,000 were contract customers.
