Textiles dominate Salvadoran free trade zone exports

Textiles accounted for 76.4 percent of all products exported by free trade zones in El Salvador, the nation's central bank reported.

Those exports amounted to $672 million during the first seven months of the year, showing a 13.4 percent growth compared to the same period last year.

The U.S. remained the main trading partner and it imported goods worth $618 million from El Salvador during the period.
