Time runs out for Odebrecht contract

Time has run out for the completion of by the Brazilian Odebrecht construction company of Terminal 2 of Central America's leading airport, Tocumen.

Addendums to the contract raised the price from an initial $670 million to $917 million and, as of yesterday, Tocumen SA, which operates the airport, is applying sanctions on a daily basis until the work is completed, Newsroom Panama reports.
