Tourism to El Salvador grows 5.8 percent

Tourism to El Salvador grew 5.8 percent in the period between June 2012 and May 2013, according to the Ministry for Tourism.

The Ministry said the growth came as a result of a promotional campaign.

In 2012, tourists spent $799 million in El Salvador, 17 percent more than in 2011.
