Tourism to Guatemala grows 12 percent

Some 383,219 tourists visited Guatemala in January and February this year.

The figure represents a 12 percent increase compared with the same period last year, according to the country's tourism institute Inguat.

Tourists spent $284.8 million in that period, 11 percent more than the same period in 2013.
