Tourist arrivals to Panama grow 3.5 percent

Tourist arrivals to Panama grew 3.5 percent in the first five months of this year, the country's tourism authority, ATP, said.

During that period, a little more than 1 million tourists visited the country, about 33,800 more than in the same period a year earlier.

In terms of revenues, visitors spent $1.52 billion, 6.2 percent more than in the first five months of 2013.
