Tuesday, October 25, 2011

The port workers’ union failed in an effort to halt the award of a concession for an extension of the container port at Moín, Costa Rica.

The union failed to prove to the nation’s supreme court that the $1 billion project would damage the environment.

The verdict clears the way for the Comptroller-General’s Office to approve the contract won by APM Terminals of the Netherlands.
