Transport drivers to block border with El Salvador

Central American transport drivers have agreed to block the border to El Salvador.

The aim is to press the Salvadoran Government to eliminate a new tax on all vehicles that drive within the country.

The decision to protest and block the border was taken during a Central American Transport Council meeting in Guatemala.
