Unilever eyes operations in Panama

British-Dutch company Unilever is already in talks to start operations in Panama under a law which benefits multinational companies.

The company only has to end the last round of talks with the government and process legal procedures, said Panama's vice minister of interior trade, Luis Eduardo Camacho.

Under the law which benefits multinational firms, other company's in the same sector as Unilever operate in Panama, such as Procter & Gamble and L'Oreal.
