US and Mexico mull armed US marshals on civilian flights

Mexico and the United States are looking into whether armed U.S. federal air marshals could be deployed on commercial cross-border flights.

Since Donald Trump took office, U.S and Mexican officials have said that Mexico has tried to improve cooperation with its top trade partner on security, immigration, and foreign policy, hoping to convince the Trump to take a softer stance on Nafta.
