US to boost development of El Salvador's coast with $277 million investment

The government of El Salvador will focus on developing the country's coastal area, with the help received from the United States through the program Partnership for Growth and Fomilenio 2.

The United States, through its Millennium Challenge Corporation, will donate at least $277 million to El Salvador to help develop its coastal area.

El Salvador's coastal area offers the possibility to develop tourism, industrial agriculture and exploitation of marine resources.
