Varela is seeking Russian language programs for Panama

Only two Latin American presidents could find the time and the money to attend the opening concert of the World Cup in Red Square, Moscow. Juan Carlos Varela from Panama was one and Evo Morales of Bolivia the other.

Varela reported that he met with the authorities of different Russian universities, and proposed the reactivation of programs for young Panamanians to  learn Russian.
