Walmart to invest $1.1 billion in Mexico and Central America

Walmart de México y Centroamérica, better known as Walmex, aims to invest $1.1 billion this year, 20 percent more than it did in 2017.

The company said that it is "investing in projects with high returns as well as building in the long term." The main areas are logistics, perishables and technology."
