Walmart to open third store in El Salvador

The Mexican and Central American arm of Wamart, known as Walmex, announced its plans to open its third store in El Salvador.

The new store, which will be located in Escalón, is expected to create some 400 jobs.

The company operates two other stores in the country, under the Maxi Despensas and Despensa Familiar formats.
