Washington calls for a new summit on Northern Triangle

The United States has called for a new summit meeting with leaders of Mexico and Central America's Northern Triangle of Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador in the US capital.

The US Secretary for National Security, Kirstjen Nielsen, announced the summit at a Senate committee meeting.
