Windar lands order for nine sensors in Central America

Windar Photonics, a Danish firm offering LiDAR wind sensors for wind turbines, said on Wednesday it has secured an order for nine units of its WindEYE sensor.

The customer is a Central American independent power producer (IPP), which will install the sensors on Vestas V80 wind turbines with the help of Windar's WindTimizer integration solution.
