WTO points out tourism growth in Colombia

Wednesday, June 25, 2014

Taleb Rifai, Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization, WTO, highlighted tourism growth in Colombia over the last decade.

He added that Colombia is likely to be on top of other countries in the region, as the country's leaders "do much more than their counterparts in terms of tourism".

"Colombia received some 600,000 international visitors in 2007, now that figure is about 2.2 million," he said.
