Xpress Money beefs up Guatemala network

Xpress Money, a leading money transfer organization, is rapidly expanding its network in Brazil, Chile and Guatemala by virtue of strategic partnerships that are underway. This development is in line with Xpress Money's focus to increase its network in Latin America to 40,000 locations by the end of 2017.

According to the latest Migration and Development brief released by the World Bank, remittance flows into Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) increased by an estimated 6.9 percent in 2016, reaching $73 billion. It is estimated, Guatemala alone registered strong remittance inflows of $7.4 billion last year, an increase of 13 percent.
