Colombiatex fair aims for $300 million in deals

Colombiatex de las Américas 2019, the leading textile industry fair in the region, begins today in Medellín, Colombia.

Some 600 exhibitors are expected with 14,800 buyers having registered, at the Plaza Mayo convention center. The event runs through Thursday.

Deals amounting to about $300 million  are expected by the organizers, Inexmoda, according to its president, Carlos Eduardo Botero.
