Laticom International invests $10 million in Hondutel

US-based Laticom International plans to invest approximately $10 million in Hondutel, the state-owned telecommunications company of Honduras.

The investment forms part of the $50.5 million Laticom has pledged to spend to upgrade Hondutel's data transport network.

Hondutel will use the investment to deploy over 50,000 improved lines and increase its value-added services portfolio.
