Netflix sets up Mexico as a mini-Hollywood latino

Wednesday 13 February, 2019

Following the smash hits of productions such as Oscar-nominated Roma and Narcos, the world leader in streaming, Netflix, announced a major boost in its Mexican presence.

Tad Sarandos, the executive director of content, said today that it has 50 projects now under production in Mexico.

A new office is also to be established in Mexico where it will be second only to Brazil in Latin America and should consolidate what is one of the world's leading entertainment markets, Sarandos said.
