Nicaragua’s export sales jump by 31 percent in the first four months of the year

Nicaragua exported a total of $847 million in the first four months of the year, a 31 percent increase on the same period of 2010.

However, in volume terms, exports slipped by 0.38 percent.

The United States remains the biggest purchaser of Nicaragua’s exports, followed by Venezuela and Canada. These three together account for more than a half of all.
