Panama's Expocomer aims for $130 million in deals

The Expocomer 2012 trade fair, which opens this week in Panama, is expected to generate $130 million in business transactions.

Some 500 companies from 30 companies will be represented, including groups from India and Korea. Guatemala, Turkey and the Cayman Islands will take part in the fair for the first time.

The fair will include several sections, including food, textiles, construction and technology.
