Remittances to Honduras show 10 percent growth

Remittances sent back home to their families by emigrants from Honduras rosed this year through May 3 to $1.6 billion, an increase of 10.2 compared with the same period of last year. Last year remittances of a total of $4.3 billion amounted to 18 percent of GDP.
