Trade union dispute halts $6.4 billion Cobre Panamá

A dispute among two trade unions is paralyzing Cobre Panama, a $6.4 billion mining project with 12,000 workers.

Cobre Panama is owned by Canada's First Quantum.

Work on the project was 77 percent complete when it was stopped on March 10.
