Monday, April 11, 2011

Honduras will have five international airports by the end of 2013. The newest is to be built at Palmerola.

President Porfirio Lobo and Interairports, which hold the concessions to the existing four airports, confirmed that the new terminal will cost $100 million.

The Palmerola airport will be ready by late 2013. A four-lane freeway will be built to link it to Tegucigalpa.
