$100 million to ensure oil security for Costa Rica

Costa Rica’s state-owned refiner, Recope, has launched millions of dollars in investments with the aim of ensuring oil supplies and storage.

For this year along, Recope is launching three ambitious projects that will cost more than $100 million in order to double import capacity.

The most ambitious project is the construction of an oil terminal at the port of Moín in the Caribbean. The terminal will have a capacity of 560,000 barrels.
