$40 million Inter-American Bank Nicaragua loan

The Inter-American Development Bank will help to up the income of rural Nicaraguan families by 30 percent within five years with a financial help of $40 million.

The Nicaraguan Government will get low-interest financial support to promote research, innovation, and technology transfer to ensure the production of safe and healthy food.

The funding will help increase productive sector sustainability by up to 20 percent over the next five years.
