$90 million hotel aims to revive a traditional barrio of San José in Costa Rica

A new hotel is being built in southwest San José, the Costa Rican capital. The hotel, which aims for business travelers, is due to open next year.

The company involved, Hogares de Costa Rica, hopes that the hotel will regenerate one of the traditional barrios of San José. Investment is rated at $90 million.

Hogares de Costa Rica has played a major role in modernizing the downtown area of San José.
