A new Mexican revolution is slashing telecom charges

Interconnection charges in the telecommunications industry have b been slashed in Mexico by 84 percent between 2014 and 2017, the OECD reported.

Last year a so-called "zero tariff" was applied to the services that Carlos Slim's América Móvil provided to rival operators under the terms of the radical reform of the telecommunications laws.
